Great weekened for the current Spanish league leaders, Real Madrid, as FC Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla dropped points in their respective matches.

Ignacio Camacho scored the equalising goal for Malaga, denying Osasuna three important and vital points at Estadio El Sadar.

VILLARREAL 2, GRANADA 0
Bruno Soriano and Alvaro Gonzalez scored as Villarreal defeated struggling Granada at home.

ALAVES 0, ATLETICO MADRID 0
This match between Alaves and Atletico Madrid, at Estadio Mendizorroza, ended in a goalless draw.

EIBAR 3, DEPORTIVO LA CORUÑA 1
This LaLiga-season’s sensational football club has perhaps been Eibar, who, during the last weekend, convincingly defeated Deportivo La Coruña at home.

LEGANES 0, CELTA VIGO 2
Sweden international John Guidetti scored Celta Vigo’s second goal in the 67th minute from the penalty spot as his club collected all three points away from home.

REAL BETIS 1, BARCELONA 1
The defending Spanish champions, FC Barcelona, were surprisingly held by Real Betis after last-minute equaliser by the Uruguay international Luis Suarez.

ESPANYOL 3, SEVILLA 1
Big blow for title-contending Sevilla FC, who suffered a horrible defeat to Barcelona-based football club Espanyol. Arsenal invincible José Antonio Reyes scored against his former club from the penalty spot.

ATHLETIC BILBAO 2, SPORTING GIJON 1
Poor start for Athletic Bilbao in this match at home but managed to comeback and win the match after Aritz Aduriz scored from the penalty spot.

REAL MADRID 3, REAL SOCIEDAD 0
Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo scored as the current league leaders Real Madrid crushed Real Sociedad at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. The gap to second placed, Barcelona, and third placed, Sevilla, is now four points.

LAS PALMAS 3, VALENCIA 1
Munir El Haddadi’s red card in the second half cost Valencia at least a point after suffering a three-one defeat at Las Palmas.
