‪Last match between Manchester United and Liverpool at Anfield was in October 2016, which ended in a goalless draw. The latest match between these two clubs at Old Trafford took place in September 2015, where Manchester United convincingly defeated Liverpool with 3 – 1.

Manchester United are on a very strong form with victories in all competitions, both domestic and continental. Quality players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba are expected to feature in this Sunday’s match that could contribute to a Manchester United success.

Manchester United’s weakest point is perhaps their defensive work since they will lack a keyplayer, Eric Bailly. However, Manchester United have not really been tested by a really strong team.

Liverpool have been both defensively and attacking-wise solid this season in the English Premier League and are therefore a slight favourite to grap at least one point.
