The Man Who Accused Ibrahimovic Of Using Doping Products Found Guilty

Värmland’s district court found Ulf Karlsson guilty of aggravated defamation for suggesting Manchester United’s Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic of using doping products.


It was during a panel discussion as a former and prolific coach in athletics, Ulf Karlsson, spoke about Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s time at Juventus.

Ulf Karlsson questioned among other things that Zlatan Ibrahimovic gained ten kilograms of muscle in a year during his time at Juventus and accused him of “being doped”.

On Monday Värmland’s district court found Ulf Karlsson guilty of aggravated defamation for what he said during the seminar. Ulf Karlsson had sentenced to pay day-fines.
